We photograph events as they happen and give direction for couple, wedding-party, and family portraits. Your gallery brings these photographs together with details and guest interactions captured during your coverage.


Working With Available Light

Lighting changes between getting-ready rooms, ceremony spaces, outdoor portraits, and receptions. We adjust our camera settings and lighting approach to the setting and coordinate with your venue on any restrictions.


Preparing for Your Session

Before the wedding, we discuss your schedule, photo priorities, and family groupings. If your package includes an engagement session, it gives you time to experience our portrait approach before the wedding day.

Planning Your Ohio Wedding: Seasonal Considerations

Spring Columbus Weddings

(April-May)

Allow flexibility for rain and changing temperatures. Discuss an indoor or covered portrait location with your venue before the wedding.

Summer Ohio Celebrations

(June-August)

Plan breaks and shaded portrait options for hot days. If you want sunset portraits, leave a short window in the reception schedule.

Fall Columbus Ceremonies (September-October)

Check the sunset time when planning outdoor portraits. Leave room for family and couple photos before daylight fades.

Winter Columbus Weddings (November-March)

Earlier sunsets can limit outdoor portrait time. Plan an indoor option and keep outdoor sessions brief when conditions are cold or uncomfortable.

Columbus Wedding Photography Experience: What To Expect


Before Your  Wedding

We review your locations, schedule, and photo priorities. Send us your family photo groupings and let us know about any moments or people you especially want photographed.
If an engagement session is included, we arrange its date and location separately from the wedding.


Your Wedding Day

We photograph the events within your booked coverage window. Two photographers can cover different locations or camera angles when needed.

During portraits, we give directions and work through your planned groupings. During the ceremony, we position ourselves around venue restrictions and coordinate with your other vendors.


After Your Wedding

Your edited wedding gallery is typically delivered in 2–4 months. You can view, download, and share your high-resolution photos, and your package includes a print release.

Frequently Asked Questions About Columbus Wedding Photography

  • When should we book our wedding photographer?

    We recommend booking 12-18 months in advance, especially for Saturday weddings during peak season (May through October). Popular dates fill quickly.

  • Do you travel beyond central Ohio for weddings?

    Yes. We photograph weddings throughout Ohio, including Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Hocking Hills, and surrounding communities. Travel fees apply to weddings located more than 40 miles from Columbus. Contact us with your venue address for an exact travel quote.

  • What if the weather doesn't cooperate on my wedding day?

    We adjust portrait plans around the conditions and the indoor or covered spaces available at your venue. If conditions allow, we can use a break in the weather for outdoor photos. Discussing a backup location in advance helps us make those changes.

  • How many photographers will be present at my wedding?

    All four standalone wedding photography packages include two photographers. Our 8-hour photo and video combo includes one photographer, and our 10-hour combo includes two photographers.

  • What packages do you offer for wedding photography?

    We offer four wedding photography packages: Intimate with 6 hours of coverage, Dream with 8 hours, Epic with 10 hours, and Grand with 12 hours. Every package includes two photographers, professionally edited high-resolution wedding photos, an online gallery, and a print release. Our Dream, Epic, and Grand packages also include a complimentary one-hour engagement photography session.

  • Do you offer wedding videography services as well?

    Yes. We offer wedding videography separately and photo and video combo packages for couples who want both services through one team.

  • Do you provide an online gallery for photo viewing and downloads?

    Yes, all our packages include access to an online gallery where you can view and download your photos.

  • What additional services can we add to our wedding package?

    We offer add-ons like engagement photography sessions and additional hours you can add before or during your event.

  • How many photos will we receive?

    Most couples receive approximately 500–1,000 edited wedding photos, depending on coverage hours and the events photographed. We deliver images that meet our quality standards.

  • Are engagement sessions included?

    Yes. Our Dream, Epic, and Grand wedding photography packages include a complimentary one-hour engagement photography session. The session can be scheduled at a meaningful location in Columbus or elsewhere in Central Ohio.

  • How do we secure our wedding date?

    A signed contract and 50% retainer reserves your wedding date. Final payment is due 2 weeks before your celebration.
